Our Programs
National University Academy, San Diego (NUA) offers a WASC-accredited program that provides a comprehensive academic K-12 education, including UC “a-g” courses. NUA has a wide variety of instructor-led, online classes that are offered in an engaging, interactive learning environment. Students enrolled at NUA can select classes to achieve a standard high school diploma with a career-path focus, a diploma that qualifies for entrance into a California State University or University of California institution, or a GED.
National University Academy, Armona (NUAA) opened in August of 2010 and is currently awaiting WASC and UC “a-g” approval. Students enrolled at NUAA must be participants in any one of several partner programs, such as the California Conservation Corps, Workforce In Action, or Youth-Build, and may be between the ages of 16 to 25 depending on the partner requirements. Students have the option of selecting classes for a standard high school diploma, a diploma that qualifies for entrance into a California State University or University of California institution, or a GED.
All National University Academy courses are designed to meet the California Content Standards for public schools and are taught by NCLB-certified teachers who are specially trained to provide high-quality online and onsite instruction.
